1. How far in advance do I need to order?
A: At least two weeks' notice is best! For weddings, more time in advance is appropriate.
2. Do you deliver?
A: Yes! I can deliver anywhere within a 45-minute range. Delivery charge changes depending on location. For locations in St. Charles, delivery charge is only $5.00.
3. What ingredients do you use? Do you make everything homemade?
A: Yes! I take pride in the fact that I make all my cakes, pastries, and fillings from scratch. My buttercream is a natural butter-based American buttercream, and I always use all natural flavorings—no artificial flavorings! -- such as real vanilla extract. If you have more questions concerning all the ingredients in a specific baked good or pastry, I can send my ingredient list.
4. Do you make Gluten-Free or Vegan Baked Goods?
A: While vegan or gluten-free baked goods are not on my menu, I can make special orders for vegan or gluten-free treats. However, it is important to note that I am not a gluten-free nor peanut-free kitchen. The cost of these special products would be quoted upon request.
5. What payment methods do you accept?
A: I take check or cash, as well as Zelle or Venmo payments. I take a 25% deposit at the time of the order, which is non-refundable, and then the rest of the payment would be paid at time of delivery/pick-up. Payment can also be made in full at the time of the order.
6. What if I want a cake flavor, filling, or pastry that is not on your menu?
A: Since I am an all-custom bakery, I want to make everything exactly the way you like. If there is something specific you desire that is not on my menu, we can discuss, and I can send you a quote.
7. What events do you make cakes for?
A: I personally feel that cake is for every occasion! I can make the dessert table and/or cake for any occasion, big or small, such as weddings, retirement parties, bridal or baby showers, work events, or birthday parties.
